- Entries were announced for ISU CS Budapest Trophy
- Updates to Grand Prix assignments
- Maia Mazzara and Natacha Lagouge/Arnaud Caffa have received host picks at Grand Prix de France
- Alisa Efimova/Misha Mitrofanov have been assigned to Grand Prix de France
- Canada has rescinded their pairs host pick for Skate Canada, so it will go to someone on the alternate list.
- Oceane Piegad/Denys Strekalin of France were removed from Grand Prix de France and they announced the end of their 2-year pair partnership in an Instagram post on Sept. 23.
- Entries were announced for 2024 Tayside Trophy
- Rika Kihira withdrew from Japanese Regionals and is therefore out for the season.
- Ava Valentina Aversano Martinez and Christian Bennett are a new ice dance team representing Mexico and training in Novi, Michigan.
- Single-session tickets have gone on sale for the 2025 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita.
- Tickets for the 2024 Stars on Ice Holiday Tour go on sale Sept. 27 (pre-sale underway Sept. 24-26).
- Olympic Medalist and two-time National Champion Gracie Gold will be the guest artist at Ice Theatre of New York’s 2024 Fall Frolic on October 25 at 7 p.m.
- 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton is being honored at The Sports Museum’s The Tradition event in November.

- Brendan Kerry’s sanction from the Center for SafeSport, a permanent ban from U.S. Figure Skating, has an updated date of September 16, 2024 and is no longer subject to appeal.
- Estonian ice dancer Solene Mazingue posted a video on Instagram in which she said she is pursuing legal action after being sexually assaulted by another athlete at a competition last season.
