General News
- The ISU published the list of Individual Neutral Athletes (AINs) who have passed a special screening process, marking the first step toward their potential eligibility for participation in the ISU Olympic Qualification skating events.
- The Korean Skating Union nullified the suspension of Haein Lee and Young You.
- U.S. Figure Skating launched the Leave Your Mark campaign to build excitement for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan, while driving increased membership, fan engagement and support for Team USA athletes.
- The campaign kicked off with Leave Your Mark Weekend at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs, June 7-8.
- U.S. Figure Skating announced that the 2026 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships will be held at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah March 4-7.
- A second edition of the tribute show “Legacy on Ice” will take place Sept. 1 at the University of Pennsylvania.

- The ISU released its technical rules and scale of values for singles/pairs and ice dance.

Coaching Changes
- Natalie Taschlerova/Filip Taschler have moved coaches from Matteo Zanni’s group in Italy to Maurizio Margaglio in Helsinki.
- Natalie and Filip were also guests on the Future of Figure Skating podcast last week.
Partnerships Ended/Retirements
- Lindsay Thorngren will not be competing this season; removed from U.S. International Selection Pool and World Standings.
- Darya Grimm and Michail Savitskiy have ended their partnership, and both are searching for new partners.
- Xuantong Li and Grigory Rodin have ended their partnership due to federation issues. (Posted on Instagram story)
- Kristina Isaev has announced her retirement from competitive skating.
New Teams
- Ikura Kushida and Koshiro Shimada announced they are a new ice dance competing for Japan.
- Alena Kerr and Sam Herbert are a new U.S. pairs team at the junior level.
- Vayana Hristova and Axel Ahmed announced they are a new pairs team. They are training in France.
- Emma Aalto and Millie Colling announced they will be the first same-gendered ice dance team to compete for Finland.
