General News
- ISU unveiled a bold new corporate brand transformation in line with their ISU Vision 2030 strategic program.
- Skate Canada announced its 2025-2026 National Team, which includes 3 women, 5 men, 4 pairs teams, 4 ice dance teams and 3 synchronized skating teams.
- The Kuwait Winter Games Club announced that the ISU has officially granted Kuwait full membership in figure skating under the name “Kuwait Figure Skating Federation.”
New Teams
- Ayumi Kagotani and Lucas Tsuyoshi Honda are a new pairs team for Japan.
Show Announcements
- Olympic champion Nathan Chen will once again perform in the Scott Hamilton and Friends Show Nov. 23 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.
- The Lake Placid Saturday Night Ice Show will take place Saturday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the 1932 Rink.
- Gracie Gold, Ashley Cain, Andrew Torgashev, Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea, Reagan Moss and Jakub Galbavy will be starring in Ice Dreams on Friday, July 18 at the Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. There will also be workshops on Saturday, July 19.

- Voting for the U.S. Figure Skating’s 2024-25 SKATING magazine Readers’ Choice of the Year Award is now open and will run through July 13 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.
- Ami Nakai announced that she was going to keep her “Cinderella” free skate from the 2024-2025 season, but copyright issues involving The Walt Disney Company meant that she would have to create a new free program from scratch.
