- The ISU will allow skaters from Russia and Belarus to participate in ISU events or international competitions starting this season as AIN (neutral athletes).

- Belgium’s Loena Hendrickx announced her retirement from competitive skating
- Belgium’s Nina Pinzarrone has switched coaches and is now working with Damon Allen, Tammy Gambill and Logan Giulietti-Schmitt.
- Lithuanian ice dancer Paulina Ramanauskaite announced her retirement from competitive skating.
- France junior ice dancer Lou Koch announced her retirement from competitive skating.
- Hungary’s Vivian Papp announced her retirement from competitive skating.
Passings
- Two-time Olympic pairs champion Artur Dmitriev passed away from complications from heart surgery on June 29 at the age of 58.
- Legendary Figure Skating coach Viktor Nikolaevitch Kudriavtsev died on June 22, 2026, at the age of 88.
