- Wakaba Higuchi announced at the “Dreams on Ice” show in Japan that she will be retiring at the end of the 2025-26 season.
General News
- On July 3, The International Skating Union will convene its members for the first-ever ISU Extraordinary Congress.
- Skate Ukraine reported that the arena in Dnipro, Ukraine was damaged during a June 24th attack.
Assignments
- The Japanese Federation has announced its preliminary assignments for the 2025-26 Junior Grand Prix Series.
New Teams
- Lara Luft and Ilias Fourati have teamed up in ice dance and will represent Hungary.
- Lucy Hancock and Aiden Dotzert announced they are a new Canadian ice dance partnership.
