General Skating News
- Entries were announced for Trophy Metropole Nice Cote d’Azur
- Ukranian pair skater Violetta Sierova announced the end of her partnership with Ivan Khobta.
- Taira Shinohara has moved from Chicago to Irvine, CA to attend UC Irvine, and he will be working with coaches Rafael Arutyunyan and Hov Mrktchian at Great Park Ice. He posted a long thank you message to his current coaches Denise Myers, Jeremy Allen, Tommy Steenberg, and Kseniya Ponomaryova.
- There will be a free Learn to Skate event at the Children’s Health StarCenter in Euless, TX on October 5 featuring instructors Ashley Cain and Danny O’Shea. Pre-registration is highly recommended.
- Ashley and Danny will also be doing a meet and greet at the Children’s Health StarCenter in McKinney, TX that morning before their Learn to Skate event.
- The Philadelphia Skating Club is holding their 175th Anniversary Gala and Exhibition on Saturday, October 26 at 5 pm with Scott Hamilton as MC and “featuring performances by Olympians, World & National competitors and local skaters.”
